Dolphins @ Bills, Dolphins +11.5 (over 50)
The Dolphins will have to come out fast and swinging to stay in this matchup, but will the players show up to save their Coach’s job? The Bills will look to slow down Miami’s offense by keeping it off the field with slow, sustained offensive drives of their own which should be easy to do against a weak Miami defense. Expect more Cook and short passes from Allen to keep those short drives going. It’s important to note that Tua is 1-8 against Josh Allen’s Bills in his career and the Dolphins have not beat the Bills since 2021. It appears Ed Oliver and Matt Milano will be out for this contest and the Dolphins should look to capitalize on it by establishing the run which hopefully will open up the pass when the Bills start to stack the box. If the Bills are successful with slow drives and stop the Dolphins run game, it will be a low scoring matchup. But this is a short week and I expect these defenses to make some mistakes which should lead to a run up in the score. I do not think the Dolphins will win this, but they should cover the spread.
