Commanders @ Green Bay Packers – on Prime, Packers (over 48)
The Packers look to continue their dominant performance against the Commanders this week. But it will be more difficult to disrupt the passing game with Micah Parsons as Jayden Daniels can make more off script plays than Goff. I think the Packers will look to stop the run and force Daniels to beat them from the pocket. The Packers will need a very coordinated pass rush to maintain Daniels in the pocket. This will be a good test of his passing skills and offseason development; to go through his progression and throw his receiver open. He has the receivers and pass catching running back to make plays as long as he has the vision to make the throws. The Packers will look to establish the run to control possession much like they did against the Lions. They will take some shots down the field with play action once the run game is established. This will be a good test for the Commanders defense to see if the offseason investments in the d-line is paying off. If they are successful in stopping the run, the Packers will lean into the passing game to come away with the victory. I expect a pass heavy game from both sides which will lead to a higher scoring matchup.
